Get to Know Us
Bramble & Blossom’s roots run deep, beginning in a small Brooklyn whiskey bar in 2011, where Jessica first started creating bouquets in reclaimed beer bottles, full of curiosity about flowers and inspired by her involvement in local, community supported agriculture. Those earliest explorations led her to the world of Slow Flowers, raising questions about provenance, carbon footprints, and sustainable design. From those NYC days, with Foxglove as her first business, Jessica’s love for wild, seasonal beauty grew into a commitment to eco-friendly floristry and community-focused design.
In 2017, Bramble & Blossom took root in Pittsburgh, bringing this passion for seasonal florals to weddings and events in the city. Our journey has always been about more than just flowers; it’s about supporting local growers, celebrating nature’s rhythms, and bringing beauty to the spaces and people around us.
Since moving into our new studio on S. Trenton Avenue last fall, we’ve heard a growing request for fresh, seasonal blooms, not just for special occasions but for every day. That’s why we’re excited to expand into a retail flower shop, welcoming everyone in the community to experience the joy of American-grown flowers, crafted with care and creativity for any day that calls for beauty.
